I am a lot of things, some of which you'll see here. I work at the NASA HQ library. I'm an amateur astronomer & planetarium volunteer-I sometimes joke that I take my work home. I'm a science fiction fan & quondam SCA herald. I'm the husband of a wonderful lady named Elizabeth, a former writer/editor & presently a teacher. I'm living with a heart defect, which while it cramps my culinary style in our fat-, salt-, & sugar-heavy country, still lets me hold down a job & have hobbies. Believe me, that beats the alternative!
